Meet our tremendous team! Cathy and I have been so blessed to have the opportunity to work with such a talented group of professionals. We have had the good fortune of retaining the same team long term, some 15 to over 20 years. This longevity contributes intensely to the continuity, consistency and trust our patients feel when visiting our office. Equally so, our team of specialists can depend on us to manage and orchestrate the most complex cases ultimately decreasing their stress and the patients stress as well.We all share the common goal of committing 100% to optimum quality care for our patients. We enjoy one another, we are friends, we are family and it shows! Please take the time to to get to know my team by reading their biographies below. They are each unique and very appreciated!
-Dr. Dan Davis
Cathy Davis, RDH, RDA. Cathy began handling payroll, accounts payable/receivable and taxes for her family’s construction company at the age of 16. At that time she had no idea how valuable that experience would be to her later on in life. Cathy has devoted her life profession to dentistry. She obtained her Certification in Dental Assisting in 1982. In 1984, Cathy received a degree in Applied Science and became a registered dental hygienist. She went on to study soft tissue management from one of the world’s most prestigious centers for advanced dental study, the L.D. Pankey Institute. Cathy also attended one of the core curriculum courses at the Dawson Academy where she learned advanced techniques in dental materials for restorative temporization. She was involved in the Ray Gold Study Club implemented by world-renowned dentist, Dr. Peter Dawson and lectured on risk management. Over the years, Cathy has attended countless lectures and continuing education workshops. She is an expert in complex cosmetic cases and is responsible for orchestrating collaboration between specialists. Cathy works full time in the office in administration, complex treatment coordination, dental assisting and occasional dental hygiene. She is CPR certified and continues her dental education through a multitude of sources.
Dr. Davis and Cathy have been married since 1986 and are the proud parents of two grown children. They enjoy a life based on Christian principles. In her spare time, Cathy enjoys traveling, spending time with family, reading, outdoor activities including gardening and landscape design, going to the movies, and relaxing with friends.
When asked about working at the office, Cathy said, “It has truly been my privilege and honor to not only be married to Dr. Davis, but be a part of my husbands dental career. I know his heart and I am proud of his dedication and commitment to God, family and career.”
Renee Muncy, RDH. Renee’s dental career began at the early age of 16 when she began working part-time in a general dental practice. The skills she learned ranged from scheduling to insurance to dental assisting. Renee received her associate’s degree in Applied Science and obtained her license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1987. She holds certification in CPR and Nitrous Oxide Monitoring. In order to better serve her patients, Renee continues her studies by frequently attending dental seminars.
Renee joined our team in 1987 and has been dedicated to her coworkers and patients ever since. Her quirky personality and quick-witted humor never fails to make us smile. She has the unique ability to educate and entertain the patient all while putting them at ease during treatment. She has a following of long-term patients that would not trust anyone else with their periodontal care. Renee is protective and cares deeply for her patients’ dental and personal health. She has the knack for piecing together different aspects of patients’ dental information and developing the most beneficial strategies for that individual.
When Renee isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her two adorable granddaughters, going to concerts and taking motorcycle rides with her husband. She loves finding hole in the wall restaurants in small towns during road trips.

She is now his lead assistant and has extended lab responsibilities that are imperative to the success of complex cases. She keeps the back office running in tip-top shape, but she is a jack of all trades and you will occasionally see spot her helping out in the front office. Very few people are as versatile as she is!
Although she has always been interested in healthcare, dentistry holds a special place in her heart because a beautiful smile has the incomparable opportunity to make a lasting first impression. She enjoys being able to help patients find confidence in their smiles by assisting Dr. Davis in cosmetic cases. She routinely goes above and beyond the call of duty for our patients because she truly cares about their wellbeing. When asked what she liked most about her job, Kristen noted that she in addition to helping patients, she loves being part of such a close-knit office where coworkers are like family.

She also makes a conscious effort to maintain a can-do attitude no matter what the task at hand. Alexandria spends most of her time helping with behind the scenes administrative tasks, but you may see her checking in patients or hear her answering the phone.
Janet Weathers, RDH (retired). After 30 years of practicing dental hygiene, Janet has retired. She plans to stay local and if you are lucky, you may even catch her dropping by the office. What a blessing she has been to so many lives over the years! Her kind, calm, tender touch approach allowed her to successfully treat and gain the trust of the most apprehensive patient. Her patients adore her and it is easy to understand why. Janet plans to spend her time enjoying life with her husband, children and grandchildren.
